The name derives from Bougie, an Algerian town renowned for the quality of wax. A bedside lamp that evokes the candle flame, an ancient source of light. And it is precisely the light that is the absolute protagonist here.
The metal cap, which appears to be suspended, constitutes a gradual, adjustable inclination system, which allows the orientation of the beam of light best suited to the occasion.
An object capable of fully rendering its presence but at the same time hiding when closed, almost waiting. The design is by Giuseppe Cormio.
Aluminum bedside lamp, measures: maximum height (open) about 26 cm, minimum height (closed) 17 cm, width 18 cm, depth 18 cm
